Nursery Sessions
- Morning Sessions: 9.00am – 12.00 pm
- Afternoon Sessions 1.00pm – 4.00pm
- Full time Sessions 8.00am – 6.00pm
- Moring and Afternoon sessions are only available in the Toddler and Pre-School Rooms.
- If the above sessions are not suited to you Skallywags will try to accommodate your needs.

Baby Room

Registration
- Skallywags Application form should be completed and submitted to place your child on our waiting list.
- Nursery places are allocated on availability. We will always try to meet individual needs if possible. However our waiting list must be adhered to.
- Once you have accepted a place at Skallywags a deposit of £250 is payable. This will be held and returned to you provided one month’s written notice is given prior to your child leaving Skallywags.
Opening times
- Skallywags is open from 8 am – 6pm Monday to Friday.
- Skallywags is open all year except for National Bank Holidays and closes at 1pm on Christmas Eve.
Fees
- Fees are payable in advance either weekly. Four weekly or calendar monthly.
- Fees can be paid by Cash, Cheque, Vouchers, or Bank transfer. (Please ask for bank or voucher details)
- Fees are payable in the event of your child being absent from nursery. This includes unforeseen Nursery closure, illness, Bank Holidays and Personal Holidays.
- Please note Skallywags can refuse admission if fees are not paid.
Illness / Medication
- Skallywags follows Government set guidelines regarding illness.
- All child illnesses require different treatments and time away for nursery. For this reason we will advise parents on this where appropriate.
- The most common illness for children is Sickness and Diarrhoea. Children need to remain at home for48 hours from their last episode before returning to nursery.
- Skallywags can administer medication provided it is prescribed by a GP, and is clearly labelled by the pharmacy and in date.
- Antibiotics should be administered for the first 24 hours at home.
- Skallywags may at times need to contact you when your child is unwell. We do expect immediate collection of children in these circumstances.
Late collection of children
- Any child collected after their registered hours will incur a fine of £2.50 per minute.
- Fines are payable with immediate effect.
- Failure to pay incurred fines will jeopardise your child’s place here at Skallywags.
- Continued late collect may lead to Skallywags to withdraw your child’s place with immediate affect.
